Create your own custom Stikine Adventure or join a small group to experience the majesty of the Stikine River as your jet boat operator shares his love of the river with you. Choose the adrenaline of the Canyon or a more relaxed exploration of the river with the time to look for bears, moose, eagles and other wildlife.
If you have the time, travel from Telegraph Creek through the Coast Mountains to the Pacific Ocean and Wrangell, Alaska and see spectacular glaciers, awe-inspiring mountain peaks and take a relaxing soak in the Hot Springs.
2011 Tour Prices:
- Eight Mile Waterfall - $125 / seat
Travel up the Stikine River, through fast churning white water, into the lower end of the Grand Canyon to the Eight Mile Waterfall.
- Hudson Bay Flats - $95 / seat
This tour will take you from Telegraph Creek to the Glenora and Hudson Bay Flats area. On your return, you will travel to the entrance of the Grand Canyon, where you will get a glimpse of high rock walls and faster water.
- Half Day (4 hours) - $250 / seat
The half day tour takes you 35 miles down river to the Chutine River and Jackson's Landing. A home-made bagged lunch is provided.
- Full Day (6 hours) - $375 / seat
The full day tour will take you 65 miles down river through the Little Canyon into the heart of the Coast Mountains. This is the land of glaciers, braided river channels and infrequently travelled wilderness. We end with a peak into the entrance of the Grand Canyon. A home-made bagged lunch is provided.
